So yesterday we had our Wiki thing again and I'm starting to kind of grasp it and understand how it could be useful. I think a lot of people sort of think that its a bit boring and i do agree to a certain extent but i think once we get more into it., it will be way more interesting! The group work thing is really great though I feel, its just good dong things in groups and finding out more and more about people in your group, because to be honest, I think that we have a real interesting group of people in our class.
I read into Mike Walsh and he its really interesting, I think he has been influenced a lot by more unconventional markets e.g. Asia, Brazil. When i researched him I discovered that these more unorthodox markets and industries are a lot more innovative than the Western Worlds, which is really cool. Stuff like that makes me want to read further into these industries and see how much they actually contribute to the worlds innovation and how recognized they are by the world in general. Also Mike Walsh looks really cool haha.
The second lesson of the day was the Digital Media Tools lesson. Ian showed us numerous animations in his lecture and introduced animation to us in general. We then went into the computer suite and played around with the Adobe After Effects software. At first I was really confused about how to use it, but then Mark explained it to me and it wasn't actually so bad, quite fun as well! The picture sequence we used was really funny though so it was all good.
On another note I think the Creativity and Concept class is quite cool these days, I didn't realize how many different ways there are to be creative! ha. All new to me. We had to watch a video on YouTube for tomorrow, it was a bit old but was really cool and it showed me that in reality the top businesses and creators do use these sorts of techniques to create things and develop ideas.
I think that will do for now actually, I've talked maybe a bit too much there, I get a bit carried away at times haha.
Here's some Mozart to improve your Knowledge!
Josh Out.
